Weekly Squadron Meeting Time: Heartland Squadron meets Tuesday evenings (the 1st through 4th weeks each month) from 18:30 – 20:30 (6:30pm to 8:30pm)

FAQs for our guests visiting Heartland Squadron:

Q: When should I visit? You are invited to visit on any regular Tuesday evening squadron meeting. Plan to arrive by 6:30 pm sharp for our opening assembly. The meeting closes at 8:30, and adults, teens, and parents are welcome to observe. Come and relax, we’re a friendly bunch!

Q: Should I let you know that I’m coming? We’d love to know you’re visiting so we can welcome you and answer your questions. Please email.

Q: What will I experience at a squadron meeting? You’ll be welcomed, observe our activities, and even participate if you wish. Cadet guests will be encouraged to join in and learn some drill moves in a training flight. You’ll experience a typical meeting–with weekly topics rotated for variety. Squadron meetings include Military Drill, Aerospace Education, Emergency Services Training, Character Development, Safety, Flight Operations, Rocketry, Physical Training, Team Building, and even member promotions.

Q: What should I bring? Just come as you are (civvies are fine), and bring something to write with.

Q: I’m ready, how do I join? Fill out a membership form: CAP CADET Member Application Link -or- CAP SENIOR Member Application Link  Please bring the member application, along with two checks: for the annual membership fee for Heartland Squadron, and CAP National.
